Production Coordinator for Globally Recognized Brand - Office Location - Mount Prospect, IL
Prewards Ltd., a high-level Promotions and Event Marketing company, is looking for an experienced individual to fill a production coordinator position, available immediately. We have recently been granted the status of Nationally Approved Supplier for one of the largest and most recognizable brands in the world, which will require a full-time position to help manage the numerous tasks that go along with maintaining such a large account. The applicant should ideally have:
- Experience in working with major Ad/Marketing/P.R. Agencies
- Experience in working with Fortune 500-level brands
- Experience in the Promotional Products industry - ASI, PPAI, SAGE, etc.
The responsibilities will consist of general Production Support, i.e. searching for products, presenting ideas, drafting estimates/sales orders/purchase orders, and daily follow-up on all in-house projects. This position is somewhat different from standard production coordination, however, in that there are very specific steps that must be taken to provide product for this globally recognized brand. Every manufacturer that we use must go through a type of screening process to ensure that they are up to this brand's standards, and the applicant will be responsible for maintaining the paperwork and records associated with this process. The major steps to this process are:
- Identifying which manufacturers are desired
- Contacting the manufacturer to gauge their interest in proceeding with the screening process
- Sending, receiving, and organizing the paperwork used in the process
- Following up with manufacturers to ensure all steps are being completed in a reasonable amount of time
- Cataloging and submitting all products manufactured for inclusion on an e-commerce site built specifically for this brand
Applicant's must be positive, outgoing individuals who appreciate the joy of addressing and solving challenging situations. Must be able to multi-task and work well with others. Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with the Adobe Design Suite is a major plus. Top pay for top producers. Come and grow with a quickly growing company!
